Rema, Burna Boy Win Big At Billboard Music Awards 2023

Nigerian music stars Rema and Burna Boy were proud winners at the Billboard Music Awards 2023.

Nominated in separate categories, Burna Boy picked up the award for the newly created category, Best Afrobeats Artist.

He beat the competition from Libianca, Rema, Tems and Wizkid.

Rema also won in another newly created category, Top Afrobeats Song with her collaboration with Selena Gomez.

The top winner of the night was Morgan Wallen with 11 wins, while Taylor Swift was the biggest female winner adding 10 prizes on the night. (In fact, Swift’s 10 wins and Drake’s five on Sunday night put them in a tie for the winningest artists of all time at the Billboard Music Awards.)
