Ghanaian Afropop and Afrobeat sensation Wendy Shay has officially endorsed the upcoming 2024 Zongo Fair concert, scheduled to take place at Accra New Town College.
The two-day event, happening on November 23 and 24, promises an exciting lineup of activities and performances, with Wendy Shay headlining the concert on the evening of the 24th.
In a statement shared on social media, Wendy Shay invited her fans, known as Shay Gangsters and Survivors, to join her for an unforgettable night.
“I will be performing live. I want to see all my survivors, my Shay Gangsters. I know you want the heat,” she said, building anticipation for her performance.
The Zongo Fair, a celebration of Zongo culture and community, is set to take place on November 23 and 24 at Accra New Town, College. It is is being organized as a unifying celebration to promote peace and togetherness ahead of Ghana’s general elections on December 7, 2024.
The highlight of the event will undoubtedly be Wendy Shay’s performance at the concert, starting from 6 p.m. Ras Kuuku and other celebrities such as Majid Michel among others will equally grace the event.
