Culture’s biggest night is upon us once again.
Los Angeles is buzzing with excitement as the 2024 BET Awards, known as “culture’s biggest night,“ takes place tonight at the Peacock Theater.
This year’s ceremony promises a star-studded affair, honouring the outstanding contributions of Black artists across music, film, and sports.
Hosting the event for the third consecutive year is Oscar-nominated actress Taraji P. Henson.
The lineup features performances from Megan Thee Stallion, Lauryn Hill and her son YG Marley, Ice Spice, Latto, Childish Gambino, Keke Palmer, Victoria Monét, GloRilla, Muni Long, Sexyy Red, Shaboozey, Chlöe, and Tyla, among others.
Notably, Will Smith is set to make a grand return to the live music stage, performing his first solo song in five years.
A highlight of the evening will be the tribute to R&B legend Usher, who is receiving the prestigious Lifetime Achievement Award.
