Ghanaian music star and Afrobeats sensation KiDi has a new album on the way.
The musician who recently released a Black Sherif-featured hit single, Lomo Lomo, in a new interview with Afro B on Capital Xtra revealed the album was at an advanced stage and ready for release.
“We are gearing up for my new album, coming out this year. It was supposed to come out last year, but we were not ready then; but this year, it’s coming. I think a few more weeks or months. We are nearly there,” he said.
KiDi also revealed the title of the album as Where Do We Go From Here?. He also shed more light on the project.
“My new album is titled ‘Where Do We Go From Here? The album will feature amazing features, amazing records, and amazing producers. I cannot wait for the world to hear this album.”
The Gyal Dem Sugar also revealed that there are high expectations for his album since almost all his projects have gone on to win prestigious awards in Ghana.
“All my albums have won album of the year, so I know I have a benchmark, like something to top, so this album is going to be out of this world,” KiDi said.
KiDi currently has 2 studio albums and 2 EPs. His debut album, Sugar, was released on May 31, 2019.
KiDi is credited for top charting projects including Sugar, Golden Boy, Blue EP, and 4Play (EP).
