In an interview with 3Music TV on November 18, he reflected on his incredible accomplishment of selling out the 40,000 capacity Accra Sports Stadium.
He also disclosed that more than 55,000 people attended his self-funded BHIM Festival in December 2023.
Stonebwoy asserted that his concert which featured top musicians from Ghana and the Caribbean, was fully funded by his own funds and did not receive any external sponsorship, stating that no artiste of his calibre has been able to pull off such a feat.
“The stadium was filled to capacity; the production was from my pocket and I know the amount of dollars that I spent to put that capacity. No artiste in my class has done that yet. Not to say legends however has done that yet.
“40,000 capacity was filled to 55,000 plus, the evidence is there. The staging, did you see any sponsor on that stage? That is the capacity we are talking about.
“It’s some of us who have to be speaking, it just because we don’t like to speak. We have left it for some people who feel like they are in the industry and they are personalizing it,” he remarked passionately, highlighting his sacrifices and achievements.
