If you don’t take time, I will end your career – Shatta Wale to Black Sherif

Ghanaian reggae/dancehall icon Shatta Wale has issued a stern warning to Black Sherif, cautioning him against negative criticism and disrespect.

On Monday, November 4, 2024, Shatta Wale took to X (formerly Twitter) during a spaces dialogue to express his displeasure over Black Sherif’s Snapchat post, which featured a photo of Shatta Wale with a comment on his dressing style.

Shatta Wale noted that Black Sherif, known for hits like “Kilos Milos” and “Kweku The Traveller,” should tread carefully when addressing him in the music industry.

He asserted that any disrespect would prompt swift action, potentially ending Black Sherif’s career. (Read also: Efia Odo and I shared the same bed with no sexual activity – Shatta Wale, I recorded “On God” with angels in my room, says Shatta Wale)

“Black Sherif, you are new in the music industry. If you’ve heard them say I have said something about you, you won’t go and watch the podcast to know the good things I said about you.

“Blacko, this is the same thing Sarkodie did; now people think he is my enemy. Go and ask; I can end careers, and if you don’t take care, I will end yours,” he said.

It is recalled that on Thursday, October 31, 2024, Shatta Wale, during a conversation on the Bant, Rants and Confessions podcast hosted by Efia Odo, expressed his dissatisfaction with Black Sherif’s style of dressing, stating that the singer could do better with his appearance.

It seemed the gesture didn’t sit well with Black Sherif, who posted a picture of Shatta Wale with the caption “I plaster everywhere” on Snapchat.
