The ‘Overlord’ crooner in an interview on Onua Showtime with McBrown on November 3 revealed that he usually prays for God’s direction on dealing with such situations.
Stonebwoy noted that he seeks divine intervention to know when to respond to such negative criticisms.
“I rely on experience in dealing with attacks. It’s not something we should be used to because I don’t believe that God created us to be used to insults in this world.
“For me, I pray for divine discernment to know when to talk, when not to talk. When to heal my wounds or when to give him rope and when to smack because it’s not easy,” he explained.
The two-time VGMA Artiste of the Year believes “it is only a ripe fruit that everyone pelts stones to pluck it.”
“For me, every morning when I wake up, I see people talk about me. Even just this morning, one man has spoken ill of me but it’s something you have to ignore and focus,” Stonebwoy added.
